About Me

Hello! I’m so happy to (virtually) meet you. I’m originally from a small town in Ohio (Oberlin, to be exact – right outside of Cleveland) and I now reside in sunny Orange County, California. My husband and I moved to the west coast in 2013 and have loved living here ever since.

I have two small boys: Christian and Arlo, ages nearly-3 and nearly-1 respectively. I love being their mom and truly feel like I found my calling with Motherhood. We also have two small dogs: a Pomeranian named Coco and a Shih Tzu mix named Cali (named after the state before we had any clue that we would eventually end up here). They were the babies before the babies, and I was a dog mama long before I was a boy mama!

When I had Christian, I started to document my pregnancy, postpartum, and honest experiences as a mom over on my YouTube channel. My channel originally started as a creative space to share my love for fashion and beauty, but it quickly transformed after having him! I found such a niche community in my sharing. It’s amazing how I’ve somehow become more honest and open with my audience than I am sometimes in my private life! Through this sharing, I found a passion for normalizing some of the things us mothers go through, while empowering women to take care of themselves. Self care, mental health, and finding joy in our own hobbies are just some of the things that I’m passionate about!

My hope for this website is to be a general hub for all of my content: my YouTube channel, the Zapo Chats podcast that I co-host with my husband, and my Instagram and shopping feeds. But in addition to that, I’m excited to blog and share a different side of myself in this space! If you know me, you know I’ll be keeping it honest and real here.

When I’m not content creating, you can find me at the beach with my family, getting in a good workout, online shopping, or chilling at the In N Out drive thru (life is about #balance – as much as we possibly can). I believe this life is short so it needs to be lived optimistically, and everything happens for a reason. Thank you for being here!
