FAQs

Here are some of my most frequently asked questions, all in one spot! I often do Q&A’s on my YouTube channel and podcast, so be sure to check those out too. Or, you can always shoot me an email or DM on Instagram for anything you’re curious about. I’m an open book!

Here’s the tea.
What made you move out to California?

Shortly after we got married, my husband’s company (at the time) offered to relocate anyone who was willing to work out of their Orange County, CA office. It had always been a dream of ours to move out of Ohio and live somewhere warm. At the time, we were hoping somehow we would end up either in Florida or California. I had actually always dreamt of moving to California ever since I was a little girl! I even told my Orthodontist, when I got my braces off, that I would need to find a new dentist out in California since that’s where I’d be living as a grown up. haha! So needless to say, we jumped at the chance to move when it came up. We are still so thankful we had the opportunity!

When will you be buying a home?

We’re hoping to buy within the next year or two in California. Rest assured, I’ll share the process of home hunting and any renovations or decorating we do when the time comes!

When will you try for baby #3?

We’re not rushing this one. 😉 After having a baby (and two under two) during a pandemic, we’re hoping to spread our next one out a bit. But, as of right now we’re thinking we’ll have a third when our second is 2.5 or 3.

Why do your hands shake so much?

I have what was diagnosed as an Essential Tremor. It’s a neurological, hereditary tremor that is actually more common than you would think! It causes my hands to shake and it gets worse with caffeine. It doesn’t bother me at all but is often pointed out by others or asked about.

Makeup routine, please!

I’ve got you covered! You can read my entire go-to makeup routine here.

What do you do for working out?

I’m a proud Peloton user! We have a Peloton bike and treadmill, and you can read my whole review here. I love to do Peloton rides, runs, bootcamps, strength workouts, stretches, and meditations. When I’m not on my bike or treadmill, our family enjoys going for hikes or getting out in the neighborhood for our daily walk.

Do you wish you had a girl?

I talk about this more in this video. Although I would love to have a daughter one day, I absolutely adore my boys and could not imagine my kids being anything other than who they are today.
